TypeTec [1] Limited has joined the Digi-Sign Affiliates, Resellers & Partners [ARP [2]] Network and has agreed to the exclusive use of Digi-Sign's technology for all their Publick Key Infrastructure [PKI] and Certificate Authority [CA [3]] solutions.
TypeTec is Ireland's premier suppliers of managed services and IT solutions to the corporate, SME, graphic arts and educational sectors. Since its foundation back in 1982, TypeTec have built a leading position in the Irish computer industry and deliver consultany and related IT services to customers throughout Ireland.
Initially, the nature of this agreement is that TypoeTec will begin to replace all their SSL secure web server certificates with Digi-SSL™ [4]. Then they will work with Digi-Sign to introduce the next generation of two factor authentication services to their customers by offering Digi-Access™ [5].
The Typetec IT for Business division provides service to more than 100 companies including Independent Management Services, INTO, Daiwa Bank, HP, Zurich, Avoca Capital and Amarin Corporation.
Their Education division delivers managed services to a large number of secondary and third level institutions including the RCSI, DIT, TCD, UCD, Alexandra College and Rathdown College to name but a few.
This agreement will help TypeTec to bring a new level of sophisticated security and integration with the world class systems and technology that Digi-Sign are renowned for.
