The Managed Service

[1] The principal difference between Digi-CA™ Service Xs, Xp and Xg is the level of integration and customization you require. For example, Digi-CA™ Service Xs is provided as a standard Service and there is no customization or integration offered. The Digi-CA™ Service Xp offers language localization of the Digi-CA™ [2] Control Centre and the end user interfaces and Xg could be a highly integrated Service involving various databases, synchronization and other features.

There are seven versions of Digi-CA™ Service, each with self-explanatory names:

1 Digi-SSL™ [3] Service - is for SSLs in bulk (5 or more)

2 Digi-ISP Service™ - SSLs for ISPs and ICTs

3 Digi-IPSec Service™ - is for IPSec Certificates

4 Digi-Access™ [4] Service - provides two factor authentication [5]

5 Digi-Mail™ [6] Service - provides secure email [7]

6 Digi-ID™ Service - is for multi-use Digi-IDs™

7 Digi-CA™ Service - hosted and managed Digi-CA™

Each of these services is explained in detail in the following sub sections and the principal difference between Digi-CA™ Service Xs, Xp and Xg in each case relates to the type of Digital Certificate [7] it issues and the degree of integration and customization required.

• Digi-SSL™ Service
You may be seeking a simple solution for getting SSL Certificates or perhaps you have a larger and more specific set of requirements. You provide us with a list of domains that you need secured and before the Digi-SSL™ Service is activated these names are thoroughly Validated. All domain name validations [9] are provided free-of-charge and once active, the Administrator is able to issue and revoke any Digi-SSL™ for any domain name in the system.




• Ease of Migration
Digi-SSL™ Service has out performed even its best-known rivals by using the latest in Digital Certificate and Internet technologies offered by the Digi-CA™ [2] Certificate Engine core. • Digi-ISP Service™
The Digi-ISP Service™ is almost identical to the Digi-SSL™ Service but with one important distinction: The Internet Service Provider [ISP] conducts the Validations process under license from Digi-Sign. Once the contract between the ISP and Digi-Sign is signed, the ISP then has the ability to issue and Digi-SSL™ Certificate to any domain it chooses.
This Service is not limited to ISPs and can include Information & Communication Technology [ICT] companies and IT Professionals that need the flexibility and convenience that Digi-ISP™ offers.

The Digi-ISP Service™ can be operational in a matter of days (depending on the level of customization required) and there is little or no training required as it has been designed so that even ‘non-technical’ people can easily understand how to use it. • Digi-IPSec Service™
Digi-IPSec Service™ is the Managed CA that enables you to issue IP Secure Digital Certificates suitable for VPN security, device-to-device authentication and specialist authentication Digital Certificates for your network environment. • Digi-Access™ Service
Digi-Access™ Service is the simple to deploy and manage, two factor authentication secure access method that can’t be compromised. In most cases, the issuing and management of the Digi-Access™ [4] Service is simpler than administering a database of usernames and passwords. There is no specialist skills needed to incorporate it into your system(s) as most IT systems are x.509 compliant and are already configured to work with Digi-Access™.

Digi-Access™ uses Digi-IDs™ to authenticate individual users to the server and all web server software (even OEM versions like Oracle’s®) work with it. Within a few hours, the server can be configured without the need for any additional software or specialist programming skills. Once activated, whatever section of the network or server needs protecting, all that is required is a simple Login button.

Once this Login button is clicked, the browser automatically activates the Client Authentication dialog (a piece of software that is already ‘bundled’ in most web browsers).
