Signature Key Algorithms

The Signature Key generation algorithms use RSA and DSA (Digi-CA™ Server only).

Other Standards & Algorithms

The x.509 certificate can be used for many purposes, such as: electronic signature, two factor authentication, client authentication, email signing and encryption and many other applications.

The most common and most frequently used purposes can be included using further layers of security protocols and cryptographic algorithms, the most common of which are:

• AES: Advanced Encryption Standard;
• S/MIME AES: Secure / Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions [S/MIME] Advanced Encryption Standard for secure email messaging;
• 3DES Encryption: Triple DES encryption algorithm standard;
• IDEA Encryption: IDEA encryption algorithm standard;
• SSLv3: version 3 of the Secure Socket Layer protocol used for secure web access;
• TLSv1: version 1 of the Transport Layer Security protocol used for secure web access;
• and Others in accordance with specific customer projects and requirements.

Compatibility

Digi-SSLs™ and Digi-Codes™ require browser compatibility. Digi-IDs™ require browser compatibility and email software compatibility when being used for Digi-Mail™
